What the screen shows
Clock and prayer times Today's five times for this room, and the next one with a countdown.
Today's jamaah (the queue) Who leads, the time, the iqomah, and how many people are coming and how far away they are.
Announcement A message from the room's admins, shown at the top.
QR code Scan it with a phone camera to open this room: times, queue, and “I'll come”.
The buttons (for the people running the room)
📢 Broadcast Sends the adzan to phones around the room. Press again to stop. The prayer is put in the queue for you, and when you stop you are asked when the iqomah is.
▶ Start prayer One tap starts the prayer of the moment: the prayer screen comes up and phones in the silent zone go quiet. No question is asked; End prayer undoes it.
🕌 Start queue Asks what is happening:
I'm here — waiting: someone is in the room and wants to pray together (no time).

📢 Announce Write a message for the room. Afterwards you can share it to your WhatsApp group.
Tap a jamaah card Opens the queue: edit, remove, the green ▶ Start (starts that prayer at once, one tap), 📢 Call iqomah.
During the prayer
About 3 minutes before the iqomah, a box asks “delay the iqomah?” — press +2 min, +5 min, Start the prayer now, or Keep. If nobody answers it closes by itself at the iqomah time.
When the prayer starts, the screen turns into the prayer screen (dark and calm, or your own picture) with the time left, and the tablet goes quiet.
When the prayer time is up the screen returns by itself and the jamaah is cleared from the queue. End prayer (small, bottom right) ends it early.
Please: do not press anything while people are praying. Back does nothing on purpose — a worshipper leaning on the tablet cannot close it.
For the admin: set-up and care
Set up (once)
Sign the tablet in with the room admin's account.
Rooms → Manage → Show as Room Display.
Plug it in, and allow Time of Adzan to run in the background when asked.
It reopens by itself after a power cut or an update.
Leaving the display Long-press the room name at the top. A menu opens:

🖼 Prayer screen picture Choose a calm photo from the tablet's gallery. “Use plain dark” goes back to the default.
🔊 Voice relay Makes this tablet play the room's broadcast aloud — even where phones are kept silent. Choose outside (the adzan for the street), inside, or both.
Room settings (on a phone) Rooms → Manage → Queue & prayer settings:
How long unused queue entries stay (a day unless set)
How long a prayer lasts (10 minutes unless set)
Outside / inside broadcasts
Silent zone Phones inside it get a quiet notification instead of playing the adzan (so 200 phones don't echo it). With Settings → Silence my phone during prayer they also go quiet while a prayer is on.
If something looks wrong
Screen is dark between prayers: normal — it wakes 5 minutes before each adzan. Touch the screen to wake it.
“Time of Adzan … is ready — tap here” at the bottom: press it to install the update.
Broadcast button missing: the tablet's account is not an admin of this room.
Queue looks old: check the Wi-Fi; the board updates live when it is online.
Still stuck: long-press the room name → Leave the display, then Rooms → Manage → Show as Room Display again.
